1)Do not play other characters!
If i see anyone doing this I will give them a warning and if they keep on playing other characters I will suspend you account for a month and if this becomes a problem a year.
example: "Hello" Karen said to Heather, "Hey" Heather said back.
Ahh... NO!
2) This is not an R rated site
No sex, teacher/student relationships, suicide, murder, or anything else.
3) No Chat speak.
I absolutely hate it!
Examples: lol, jk, omg, r, u.
Now you are able to use chat speak if you wish in the chat box, but while rping You are not aloud, I will right away suspend your account for a month.
4) Most important rule yet.
Speak in third person.
Example: She, he they, we. no I's or me's.
5)Do not use (*)'s or (-)'s
Ex: *Stands up* or *Laughs*, they are really annoying and this is a RP site! Ditto for-'s
6)Use the Applications!
There are applications for almost everything, so do not go around saying you are on the quidditch team, with out filling out an application and me accepting it.
7) This site is like a Harry Potter site, just of a magic school in a different country.
8) Prefects!
Prefects will be chosen from each house. Although prefects can give out detentions, they cannot take house points! This is the job of the teachers/ headmistress.
9) Post in absences!
If you are going to be away for quite some time, post in absences. I won't cancel your account if you tell me. But, if you don't post on here for awhile and don't tell me why, I will cancel your account. You can be replaced. But, I will give you two chances. The first time, I'll let you off with a suspension. But, the second time, you will be banned.
10.) Do not role play until you are accecpted.
Once you see that you have been sorted, you may post. You have to have a house under your name, or I will simply delete your post
11)Don't post unopen threads!!!!!
You don't have to type (Open)in every thread you start,if nothing's there,you can assume it is.But if it has a name or names in it,don't post there.
Example: Having Fun((Gina))
If you are not gina or the one who made the thread, don't post there! Big no-no.
12)No one liners!!!!!!!!
Please make sure you post at least a paragraph (5 sentences). I find it difficult at times to write less than even two paragraphs so I don't imagine this is that hard of a rule to follow.
13)Glow text

This includes Professor Brown, Emily Drake, Abby Bay, Isabella Cullen, Emma Bay, Adam Finklin, and Libby Woods NO ONE ELSE!!!
14.) NO people from WCAM (unless they are a guest to the school)
This means that if you have a character on the sister site, don't have the same character here. This has something to do with the future plots. You are more than welcome to be a member of both sites, but PLEASE use a different name and history for your character!
15.) NO electronics
alright, I KNOW this rule sounds really silly, but there are none in the wizarding world... this means no phones/ computers/ ipods/ ect! If your character is pure blood... (THINK ABOUT IT!) they wouldn't know what the heck it was! If your charie is muggle born, however, they may have one of these, but know that they don't work near the school... there are spells around it so that satalites and anything electrical goes 'hey-wire' within a 60 mile radius of the school.
HOW TO GO AROUND THIS RULE!!!
part of the plot states that Micha Drake and a few of his friends invented something called the MAGE... (i don't remember what it stands for) basically, they got the idea from Muggle Studies... it's like a phone/ipod/text message thing... only run by magic. If you want your charie to have one, go ahead.
16.) Remember: This is a game. Don't get mad over one little thing. If you don't get your way, too bad. You'll get over it.
If you break any of these rules, I will give you a warning, if they are broken again, you will be suspended from the site for as long as I see fit![/center]

Rules on Siggys
1) If you're planning on using a celebrity for your avatar/siggy, register it or I'll delete it off your profile.
2 Make sure your signature doesn't stretch the screen! Or I will be forced to delete it. No bigger than 500 pixles by 550 pixles!
3) There is a limit of the numer of graphics you can have for one character. NO MORE THAN TWO, please. One of two is plenty; I don't want to have to scroll down to read the next bit of a post.
If your signature exceeds two banners, I will delete the excess numbers, whether it's the one you want deleted or not.
